Royals keeper Luke Southwood helped the Young Lions lift the Four Nations trophy!

Reading goalkeeper Luke Southwood has returned from the International Break with a medal around his neck!

The 19 year old kept a clean sheet as the Young Lions opened the tournament with a 2-0 victory over the Netherlands.

He was then rested for the 3-1 win over Germany before keeping another clean sheet against the USA when he came off the bench at half time.

England U20s coach Paul Williams when discussing his playing group following the final match said "I believe in these players. They are an outstanding, talented group" he went on to say “It’s good that people recognise how good they are”.

Southwood upon his return from the tournament tweeted saying that it was a “great way to finish the tournament as champions with a 2-0 victory over the USA.” He continued saying it was “another clean sheet and a great win from the lads!”
