Free ticket to see us take on table toppers!

19 September 2016

Season Ticket Holders have one last chance to bring a friend to the Madejski for free!

Jaap Stam's side are unbeaten in six and have not lost at home all season so far. A win against in form Barnsley at Oakwell at the weekend earned the Royals three more points on the road...but next weekend we meet league leaders Huddersfield Town.

The Terriers are in town and David Wagner's men are topping the table with 19 points from their opening eight league games - this is the toughest of tests for the Royals and a match you don't want to miss. And, as a Season Ticket holder, you still have the chance to bring a friend or a relative to this weekend's game for FREE!

Want to bring your niece along to experience her first Royals home game? Does your local barber patiently listen to you chat all things Reading FC without first hand appreciation of Roy Beerens’ step-overs? Want to show the pub landlord what he’s missing at the Madejski? You can claim your FREE ticket now!

And it’s easy!

Just call our Ticket Office on 0118 968 1313 and register for a free ticket for the game now - we host Huddersfield on Saturday 24th September, kick-off 3pm.

We will then either upload the fixture to your friend’s Member Card if they have one, or alternatively we can send out a paper ticket if it is due to be their first visit to Madejski Stadium.

This offer is even available to our FREE Under-7 Season Ticket holders – so if you want to bring mum as well as dad, or if your classmate fancies coming along to sample the Madejski Stadium experience, just give us a call!

Your free ticket will be valid in any area of the stadium and, if any Season Ticket Holder wishes to move their seat as a one-off to be able to sit next to their friend for the match, this can be done at the same time that you claim the free ticket. The offer is not available online and please note that you have to register for your free ticket in advance of the game - at least three hours before your chosen fixture kicks off.

Our fan base commitment
We are committed to growing our fan base and making Madejski Stadium accessible, attractive and affordable for as many football followers as possible.

At the start of the 2016-17 campaign, this club took the pioneering move to agree to ‘Twenty’s Plenty’ for away fans in the South Stand and, as a result, reduced advance matchday ticket prices to match the same £20 maximum for all who want to take a seat in the Eamonn Dolan Stand this season.

Of course the club further reduced Season Ticket prices in the newly-named Eamonn Dolan Stand this season – meaning adults can see every one of our league fixtures for as little as £14.13 per match, while 65 & Over ST holders pay the equivalent of just £9.35, 18-24 year-olds only £5.87 and 17 & Under fans an average match price of £3.87!

For the first time this year, we also offered our ST Holders cash back for referring a friend to buy a Season Ticket for 2016-17 - and with Family Ticket bundles on offer and Under-7s still able to come to every game for FREE, it is clear the club are dedicated to attracting more men, women, girls and boys to Madejski Stadium.
The more fans in the stands, the better the atmosphere. And more vibrant the atmosphere, the more support will filter through to the eleven men on the pitch. So that is why we are calling on you to help us to make the Madejski the place to be as this month drawns to a close!

This is only the second in a series of rewards we will be rolling out to our Season Ticket holders across the current campaign. Last month, the club announced an offer which offered our most loyal supporters an ‘in store’ discount on the new home, away or goalkeeper’s shirt.

We also have 4-Match Ticket Bundles on sale now - that means you can save money on entry by committing to four fixtures of your choice in the Sky Bet Championship!  Why not get yours today and then see us take on the Terriers! See you at the match!

And with the season less than a month old, the club have launched the second in a string of 2016-17 ST holder benefits today – you can claim your free ticket now by calling 0118 968 1313 or visiting out Ticket Office in person!
