Get here early – don’t risk missing kick-off!

1 April 2017

Leave ample time to arrive at Madejski Stadium

This afternoon’s game against fellow promotion-chasers Leeds United is set to be a busy affair – and so we’d urge all supporters to arrive at Madejski Stadium as early as possible ahead of our 5.30pm kick-off.

It’s a sell-out!
There are no more tickets on sale – so please don’t travel through to Madejski Stadium without a ticket arranged.

A number of supporters were caught in heavy traffic last time we had a capacity crowd when we recently hosted Newcastle, so if you can arrive earlier than usual, we’d urge you to do so.

Our Ticket Office will also be busy with collections, so if you’re collecting tickets before the game, then the earlier you can join the queue the better!

M4 closures which will affect traffic
Due to bridge repairs on the motorway, the M4 will be closed between Junction 12 and Junction 13 in both directions from Friday 31st March through to Monday 3rd April. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A4 (through Newbury, Thatcham and Woolhampton).

Even if these closures don’t direct affect your route, the knock-on effect is that other roads will be busier than usual.  So plan extra time for your journey.

Our cash machine is out of action
Unfortunately the cash machine outside the stadium is unavailable for use today, so if you need cash, please withdraw it before travelling to Madejski Stadium.

On the stadium concourses, we you can take advantage of our contactless payment points throughout the stadium which are highlighted by the yellow contactless sign and staff wearing yellow t-shirts which says ‘I take contactless’.

Thanks for your cooperation, and enjoy the game!
