Reading duo take part in Q&A in Tilehurst with Royals fans...

Reading duo Chris Gunter and John Swift both paid a visit to the Tilehurst Royal British Legion on Wednesday evening to take part in an evening with the Reading FC Former Players’ Association, meeting and chatting with fans in the local area.

The pair, who have been key members of the squad this campaign as the Royals chase a top six finish, sat down to speak with the public about life at the club this season under boss Jaap Stam.

The evening was hosted by former Reading captain and BBC Berkshire presenter Ady Williams, who joined Gunter and Swift on stage for what was a very successful night in Tilehurst.

Before a short break and some food, the pair chatted with Williams about the season so far under Jaap Stam and the way he has instilled his philosophy at the club since joining as Reading push for a top six spot.

Following this, Gunter and Swift fielded a range of questions from the audience in a Q&A session about all things Reading and their personal careers too.

Welsh international Gunter and England U21 international Swift both answered questions put to them by the audience about what has been a successful 2016/17 season so far. They also gave an insight into life playing under former Netherlands’ and Manchester United legend Jaap Stam, the push for promotion, and both chatted about their time on the international stage.
