Jón Daði Böðvarsson and Dave Edwards haven’t yet linked up in the blue and white hoops – but they spent a season together in the gold and black of Wolves in 2016/17.
And striker Böðvarsson, who found the net for the first time in our 2-0 triumph at Birmingham last weekend, is very pleased to be welcoming a former colleague and good friend to the Madejski Stadium.
“He is, first and foremost, a really good person,” said Jón Daði. “Dave Edwards and his whole family are fantastic people.
“He’s a very good professional – he knows the league and he knows English football. He is very consistent and can be a leader on the field as well.
“And he scores goals at times as well. It is nice to have him in the club and it’s good for our depth.”
