Wieser heads to Roeselare for loan spell

31 August 2017

Sandro Wieser has today finalised a loan move to KSV Roeselare, which will see him remain with the Belgian club until the end of the 2017/18 campaign.

He joins Danzell Gravenberch at Schiervelde Stadion, after the Dutchman also joined the Belgian First Division B side on loan last month.

Wieser represented our Under-23 and Under-21 sides on seven occasions last season, playing in Premier League 2 and Checktrade Trophy fixtures.  He was also an unused substitute on seven occasions for our senior squad.

He now joins a Roeselare side which currently sit at the top of their division after three games, having collected two wins and a draw in the opening month.

Roeselare are due to meet Beerschot-Wilrijk on Friday in league action, but international fixtures against Albania and Spain mean that Liechtensteiner Wieser won’t be available to play.  Instead his debut could come against Royale Union Saint-Gilloise next weekend.

Everyone at Madejski Stadium wishes Sandro all the best for his time with Roeselare.
