Ahead of the game: A home clash with the Cottagers

24 January 2017

All you need to know in our match preview as the Royals host Fulham...

Reading v Fulham
Madejski Stadium
Sky Bet Championship
Tuesday 24th January 2017, 8pm

The Royals will be looking for a return to winning ways in the league when they host Fulham under the lights at Madejski Stadium in our rearranged fixture.

Last time the two teams met in Berkshire on 30th December we only made it to half-time, with heavy fog meaning the game was abandoned at the interval.

Reading manager Jaap Stam will be looking for a response from his side after an unfortunate 3-2 defeat away at Derby on Saturday afternoon despite his side performing well at Pride Park.

Fulham, who sit six points behind the Royals in 9th, managed to take a point away at QPR at the weekend and will be looking to try and close the gap on Reading.
