Community Trust recruiting for Prince's Trust Team programme

Royals host Princes Trust team programme at Madejski Stadium....

In partnership with Adviza and the Prince’s Trust, Reading FC Community Trust are currently recruiting for the next Team Programme.

The 12 week Team Programme offers personal development training for people aged 16 to 18 years and is designed to re-engage young people, helping them to think about their futures and move forward, ultimately into employment, education or training.

The Team Programme is located at the Madejski Stadium. It is a full time course Monday to Friday, 9.30am–4.30pm.

During the 12-week programme, participants will:
•    Learn the importance of team work
•    Attend a five day team building residential
•    Develop and learn new skills
•     Undertake projects aimed at helping the local community
•    Complete a work placement
•    Plan, organise and deliver a team presentation
•    Gain new qualifications (First Aid and NVQ Teamwork and Community projects)

There are many benefits to joining the Team Programme, with the course aimed at helping participants to realise their own potential and gain new skills and experience. The programme helps 16-18 year olds work towards valuable qualifications and certificates, develop a CV and focus on future career aspirations.

It is also designed to help individuals build confidence and helps open doors through networking, meeting new people and making new friends.

If a young person is receiving of any benefits, taking part in the Team Programme will not effect their benefits.

The scheduled start date is Monday 16th January, but participants can enroll later than this date too.
