Centre-half links up with the LionsReading centre-half Jake Cooper has today joined Millwall on a loan spell until the end of the 2016/17 campaign.
The 21-year-old defender has made three Championship outings and two EFL Cup appearances for the Royals this season, as well as making seven starts for our Under-23 side in Premier League 2 and featuring in our Checkatrade Trophy run.
Now he links up with the Lions and former Royals teammate Shaun Cummings; Jake could be involved as early as this Saturday in their League 1 visit to Bradford City.
Millwall, currently in 12th, will be looking to close the gap on the Bantams and reduce the gap between themselves and the play-off places, which currently stands at seven points.
And his home debut could come on Sunday 29th January when Premier League outfit Watford visit The Den in the Emirates FA Cup fourth round; he will be eligible to feature for his loan club, after being an unused sub for the Royals at Old Trafford. The 12pm kick-off has also been selected for TV coverage on BBC One.
All at Reading would like to wish Jake the best of luck for a successful spell on loan at Millwall for the remainder of the campaign.
