Moore looks ahead to CardiffAfter a midweek win against Fulham, Royals centre-half Liam Moore knows that the Royals will be in for a different type of challenge when Cardiff City come to Madejski Stadium this weekend.
While the Bluebirds are positioned lower in the table than the Cottagers were, he doesn’t expect that to lead to an easier game – just a different one, with a fresh set of challenges.
“It’s another tough game – we’ve got a tough run-in,” said Moore. “We can’t expect anything in this league – every team we’ve played against has come with different ideas and different problems. We need to deal with that, and try to take advantage.
“The game against Fulham was our game in hand, and we really needed to make the most of that. Luckily we did. And now it’s about trying to go on a bit of a run, and carrying on make the Madejski a bit of a fortress for us and picking up as many points as we can.
“The medical staff here are really good – they make sure we get the load right between the games. And I think it helps when you get results – you want the next game to come around as quick as it can.
“So bring on Saturday – I hope we can get some more points.”
