Defender makes Fir Park moveReading defender Zak Jules has today joined Scottish Premiership side Motherwell on a loan spell until the end of the 2016/17 season.
The 19-year-old has made a total of 15 appearances this season for our Under-23 side, as well as spending a month-long loan spell with Braintree Town, which included featuring in an FA Cup tie against Millwall.
He was involved in our pre-season trip to the Netherlands in the summer in his second full season as a pro, and was also named amongst the subs for a first-team Royals fixture against Plymouth in the EFL Cup at the beginning of the campaign.
And he agrees terms with Scottish side Motherwell in time to be eligible for selection for their top-tier meeting with Rangers tomorrow at Fir Park.
Centre-half Jules is a Scotland Under-21 international, and could face fellow Royal and Ireland Under-21 defender Niall Keown – who joined Partick Thistle earlier this week – when the Well visit Firhill in April.
All at Reading would like to wish Zak and Motherwell the very best of luck for a successful end to the season.
