Beerens looks ahead to Saturday's meeting with the BluebirdsReading wide-man Roy Beerens says the Royals will be looking to continue their good form and take it into Saturday’s meeting with Cardiff City when the Bluebirds visit Madejski Stadium.
Neil Warnock’s Cardiff side come into the contest in good form, having won three of their last four games in the Sky Bet Championship, and Beerens is expecting another difficult assignment in Berkshire come kick-off.
“We’ve done our recovery we have Thursday off and we’re focused on Cardiff,” said Beerens. “Every game in the Championship is very tough and we know we have to be focused for every match.
“We need to make sure we do what we want to do which is to play our system and to continue this good form.”
Despite Cardiff’s upturn in form since changing their manager back in early October, Roy says the Royals will be looking at their own game first and foremost.
“We have an idea of how we want to play and we continue it every game," said the Dutchman. “Some games maybe we have a different system but we know what goals we want to reach.
“Concentrating on ourselves and our own game is the most important thing.
"Obviously you look at how they play, but the most important thing is that you do the things that you train for and make the most of your qualities as a team. We are aiming to do that again on Saturday and we’ll see how it goes."
