State your intentions for the final 10…

18 January 2017

Back the boys at home for the run-in

Four months left to go in the Sky Bet Championship season, and we’re occupying a healthy position in the league table.

So will you be playing your part in our final 10 fixtures at Madejski Stadium, as we aim to make 2016/17 a season to remember for Reading?

Few teams across the country can boast a home record as impressive as ours.  We’ve notched up 27 points from our 13 Madejski Stadium league matches to date – not mentioning a couple of cup wins too!

We’ve been treated to 24 goals on our own patch this term – including a corking volley by Roy Beerens against Bristol City and a firecracker from Callum Harriott against Norwich City!

There have been plenty of reasons to cheer – and we want you here to give us every ounce of backing that you can, so that we’re in the running right to the end.

So make sure you’re at Madejski Stadium for the final stage of this season’s adventure – it’s all up for grabs between now and May.

We proudly boast terrific value on match tickets with some of the most competitive prices in the Championship – Adults don’t have to pay more than £20 per game, while supporters aged 18-24 can come for just £10.  Or you can save up to £5 per game by buying a 4-Match Bundle, for a flexible way of committing to whichever games you’re able to get to.

Plus our next game at home is against Fulham - and as a goodwill gesture, we've ensured that everyone who came to our original abandoned fixture will be able to come to the rescheduled game for free!  Don't forget that you'll need to claim your ticket before 5pm on matchday.

Our commitment to affordable football has also helped our supporters on the road as well – Cardiff City became the first club to reciprocate our £20 price cap, meaning our travelling fans got to enjoy a late winner from Yann Kermorgant in South Wales, and we recently subsidised the cost of tickets for our FA Cup visit to Manchester United at Old Trafford meaning that none of the 5,000+ fans who travelled had to pay more than £30.

So in return we want to see the kind of support that any successful team needs – vibrant and eager, filling Madejski Stadium, and as hungry for success as our team are.
