Following feedback from the Football Supporters Federation Away Fans Survey 2016-17, it is clear Reading Football Club has delivered a positive experience to travelling fans who visited Madejski Stadium last season.
The FSF Away Fans Feedback Survey asked nearly 1,000 supporters visiting Championship grounds last season to rate each game on a range of factors across the whole of their matchday experience, both outside and inside the ground.
All fans were asked to rate the various factors on the following scale: 5 (Excellent), 4 (Good), 3 (Adequate), 2 (Poor) and 1 (Very Poor). An average was taken from these responses and the Royals fared well.
Quality/comfort of the away sector
Reading ranked 2nd of the 24 Championship clubs with a score of 4.33. The average for the Championship was 3.54.
Price of refreshments
Reading ranked 9th of the 24 Championship clubs with a score of 3.00 The average for the Championship was 2.97
Choice of refreshments
Reading ranked 3rd of the 24 Championship clubs with a score of 3.53. The average for the Championship was 3.19.
Behaviour of stewards/club staff
Reading ranked 2nd of the 24 Championship clubs with a score of 4.11. The average for the Championship was 3.61.
Entering the Stadium
Reading ranked 1st of the 24 Championship clubs with a score of 4.38. The average for the Championship was 3.78.
Overall value for money
Reading ranked 4th of the 24 Championship clubs with a score of 4.00. The average for the Championship was 3.48.
