Defensive midfielder Danzell Gravenberch is set to spend the 2017-18 season in Belgium after signing season-long loan papers with KSV Roeselare.
Reading Football Club can confirm that Danzell spent last week training with the Belgian First Division B side and has now completed a loan switch to Arnauld Mercier’s side – who narrowly missed out on promotion to the top tier in a play-off defeat to Antwerp at the end of last season.
Gravenberch signed for the Royals from Dutch side FC Dordrecht a little more than a year ago and made 1(+4) appearances for Jaap Stam’s side last season, starting his only first team game of 2016-17 in our EFL Cup win over MK Dons last August.
And the 23-year-old will now look to impress during a year spent in the Flemish province of West Flanders – he could make his debut in their season opener at AFC Tubize on Saturday 5th August.
All at Reading would like to wish Danzell the very best of luck for his season in Belgium.
