Winger Paolo Hurtado has completed a permanent transfer to Portuguese side Vitória de Guimarães for an undisclosed fee.
Hurtado joined the Royals from Paços de Ferreira two years ago and made just five substitute appearances for Reading in the Sky Bet Championship before sealing a loan move to the Primeira Liga in January 2016.
He spent the entirety of last season on loan at the same Portuguese side and his only Royals start came in the Capital One Cup as Steve Clarke’s Reading narrowly lost to Premier League opponents, Everton, at Madejski Stadium.
Hurtado, who turns 27 next week, could now feature for Vitória in Super Cup action against Benfica ahead of the start of the new Primeira Liga season next month.
We would like to wish Paolo the very best of luck at Vitória and with his career in the future.
