Get involved in the Community Trust's Disability England Talent Day at Bisham Abbey...The Reading FC Community Trust will be running a Disability England Talent Day at Bisham Abbey on the 18th of March.
The session will give footballers with a range of abilities the opportunity to show off their footballing skills in front of a number of scouts! The scouts will be on hand to assess each player to see if they're good enough to follow an England pathway that would suit the individual's disability.
This is a great opportunity for young aspiring footballers aged between 12 and 16 with a disability to see if they have what it takes to go to the next footballing level. The Talent Day will take place at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre and will run from 1pm-3pm on the afternoon of March the 18th.
The day will include a series of different football drills and games that aim to identify those players capable of moving on to the next stage.
Some participants will be invited back to attend a six week development centre where FA England talent scouts will be in attendance to sign post participants to the relevant player pathway. This programme will be run by Reading FC Community Trust staff alongside the FA.
The Talent Day in conjunction with Berks and Bucks FA will be open to players with the following disabilities:
- Cerebral Palsy
- Partially Sighted
- Deaf Male and Female
- Learning Disability
