It worked for the semi-final, so we want you to wave the flag for the club one last time!
Late last week we announced that we wanted to create another striking visual masterpiece when the teams walk out of the tunnel, adorning Wembley with our hoops as a striking giant crowd mosaic is set to read ROYALS in the East side of the famous stadium.
But our shareholders saw Madejski Stadium come to life with more than 20,000 flags waving in support of Jaap Stam's side ahead of the semi-final second leg against Fulham...and they loved it! So with their help, we’ve made it happen again!
Blue or white flags are being placed on every single Reading supporter’s seat ahead of kick-off at Wembley and we want you to recreate the sea of flags that helped get us here!
Put the sensible you to one side. After the giant mosaic has worked its magic, we want you to weave a little more by waving the flag with unbridled passion and pride once again.
After the semi-final second leg victory against Fulham, Royals boss Jaap Stam completed his post-match media duties by speaking to former Royals skipper Ady Williams as part of BBC Radio Berkshire’s post-match coverage.
As part of the interview, Ady read out a text he’d received from a big Royals fan… “Life is about experiences, not things. My two boys will love Reading forever because of nights like tonight. Amazing scenes.”
We can’t foresee the future nor directly control the result on Monday afternoon. But the baton is handed to you, our supporters, to help try to create another memorable moment in the history of Reading Football Club. Make the mosaic and fly the flag for the Royals!
