EFL decide dates for top-tier shoot-out
The EFL have today announced their provisional play-off timings for the Sky Bet Championship. After the regular season ends on Sunday, four teams – including the Royals – will contest a shoot-out for top-tier promotion!
Our 1-0 win against Wigan at the weekend ensured our place in the top six of the Championship and a chance to extend our season for up to three games… with the prize for one team being Premier League football in 2017/18.
Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield Town and Fulham occupy the other three positions. The Owls host Fulham this Sunday and Huddersfield host Cardiff, while we end our campaign with a visit to Burton Albion.
Here’s how the top of the table looks after 45 games…
