Reading FC Deaf Team aim to reclaim trophy!

10 May 2017

The Reading FC Deaf Team are looking to reclaim the South East Regional Disability Cup this Saturday

Losing out to the MK Dons team in the final of the South East Regional Disability Cup last year has been hard to take for the Reading FC Deaf Team, who won the cup the previous year!

“We need to play our best football on the day,” said Deaf Team Manager Craig Peters. “This is the third time in a row that we have reached the final stage of this competition and having been here before we understand how challenging it will be!”

Having won the previous two rounds, the Deaf Team are now in the final stages of the competition with the Semi Finals and Final being played on Saturday 13th May at the Hampshire FA Winklebury Football Complex in Basingstoke.

The semi-final between Reading FC and Healthy 4 Life will kick off at 12pm with the final kicking off at 2.30pm where, should the Royals make it they could face MK Dons or Sussex Rep.

There will be free parking and a tuck shop available on site.
