Liam Moore says a bit of respite in the Championship season will have done the Royals the world of good, leading up to facing Wolves at Madejski Stadium next weekend.
With a run of five games in 14 days on the Royals' return to action, the centre-half hopes to use that time to rest properly.
The Royals get back underway next weekend with the visit of league leaders Wolves, and when asked if the international break will help his preparations, Moore says it will help the whole squad.
He said: "After a tough run of games physically, a couple of us in the squad had been run down with colds and a bit of illness.
"It's great to have a bit of a rest, recharge the batteries and have a good blast Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
"Wolves will be a very interesting, tactical game, we can go in there full of confidence as well and try and kick up that table."
