The international distraction is over and we're back to the bread and butter of Championship football this weekend and Royals boss Jaap Stam and his players are prepared for an Elland Road challenge - a tough challenge they are fully aware of.
“We know how they play and Leeds are playing some good football this season...and they’ve done well in the league up to this point," Stam said.
“Everybody knows that when you go over there, it’s not going to be easy in front of their home crowd. Big stadium, big crowd, a team that is doing well in the league and of course they’re going to want to have a result.
“We need to be aware of that, and we are aware of that. We need to get through the challenge that is posed and make sure we do well over there.
“Everybody likes to play in front of big crowds, big stadiums, against big teams, and Leeds is all that! If you don’t relish all that, then I think there’s something wrong!
“All our players are looking forward to getting involved in this particular game. We’ve worked hard in these two weeks - that should come as no surprise because we’re always working hard.
"The international break is not the most ideal situation, because if you’re working on something you need to improve, but you are missing quite a few players, it makes it difficult.
“But that’s normal and for the players who have been here over the last two weeks, we have worked well with them to get better, to get those little mistakes out of the system and aim to improve in everything we do.”
