Skipper shows support at our deaf team's training session!

The Royals return to league action this weekend in the first of a double-header at Madejski Stadium, as Garry Monk's Middlesbrough are the visitors to RG2 on Saturday afternoon.

Boro rang the changes in midweek as they lost out to Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup, but they will be back to full strength for the weekend as they make the long trip to Berkshire to face the Royals.

Jaap Stam, meanwhile, confirmed that skipper Paul McShane and midfielder John Swift are fit and available to be selected from the start on Saturday, with both having come off the bench against Sheffield United last time out.

With Boro winless in the league for over a month and the Royals hoping to kick-start their home form this season, this match is set up to be a tough battle between two sides which are fighting hard for a good result.

Championship sponsors Sky Bet make the Royals 11/5 for victory at Madejski Stadium on Saturday, with Middlesbrough the 11/8 favourites for all three points, and the draw priced at 21/10.

Already with three assists to his name as a Royal, Sone Aluko can be found at 5/2 to open his goalscoring account in the blue and white hoops. Jaap Stam confirmed that John Swift is in contention to make a return to the starting line-up, and he is 7/2 to score any time on Saturday.

Oliver Langford will be the man in the middle at Madejski Stadium on Saturday, in his first visit to RG2 of the season. Langford has already been in charge of Boro this season, in their 1-1 draw against Fulham at Craven Cottage last month.

While he has averaged around three yellow cards per match so far this season, his last game was a feisty affair between Bristol City and Leeds United that included two red cards and six cautions, as Leeds ran out 3-0 winners.

Langford will be assisted by Lee Venamore and Robert Merchant, with Nicolas Kinseley between the benches as fourth official.
