Twenty is still plenty

25 September 2017

Over the past two seasons, we have made great strides in making football as affordable as possible for supporters coming to Madejski Stadium.  We’ve backed the FSF’s ‘Twenty’s Plenty’ campaign, and as a consequence, a number of clubs have reciprocated when our supporters travel away too.

But we know that supporting the team home and away requires a special kind of commitment.  And that’s why we’re giving something back to those supporters who put in the hard yards to stretch their vocal chords for the team on the road!

Any Season Ticket or Member Card holders who purchase a match ticket for our first game at Bramall Lane since 2011 will be eligible to join us on our free coaches, which will depart on the morning of the match from Madejski Stadium.

Whether you’re a seasoned travelling fan or if you’re looking to attend a rare away day, you’ll benefit from the savings we can offer by getting you there absolutely free.  And, after travelling with fellow Royals up to the Steel City, we’re hopeful of seeing as many supporters as possible packed into the away end at Bramall Lane!

Many return train tickets to Sheffield cost upwards of £90… instead you can come along with us without putting a strain on your pocket, with the added convenience of being dropped off at the stadium when we arrive in Sheffield!

It has been seven seasons since we were last in South Yorkshire to take on the Blades… we shared the points that afternoon as Shane Long’s strike was cancelled out late by a Daniel Bogdanovic spot-kick.

And hopefully we can make it a great away day to one of English football’s most iconic stadia.

It's one of the longer trips we're making before the turn of the year, so we hope we can count on your support in Sheffield!
