Royals' full-back Chris Gunter took home the top prize from the FA Wales Awards on Monday night, winning the FA Wales Player of the Year award.
Countryman and Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale had won the award for each of the past four seasons, but the full-back won the honour while away with the national side, who have two crucial World Cup qualifiers left to secure their place in Russia.
Gunter is closing in on Neville Southall's all-time appearance record for Wales, with 81 caps to his name at the moment and Southall sitting on 92.
Also, midfielder Dave Edwards was honoured at the ceremony by winning the Media Choice award on the night.
We would like to congratulate both players on this fantastic achievement with their country.
