With several Royals vying to line up against their former club on Saturday, it is set to be a big game at Madejski Stadium!
Hull City are the visitors, having just come back into the Championship from the Premier League last season, it will be another chance for the Royals to test themselves against high-quality opposition.
Royals' skipper Paul McShane spent seven years with the Tigers before joining Reading in 2015. He played at the KCOM alongside compatriot Stephen Quinn, who joined the Royals at the same time after playing for Hull for three seasons.
Striker Sone Aluko also played alongside Quinn and McShane in Humberside; he was with the Tigers for four years before joining Fulham last season, subsequently signing for the Royals this summer.
Also, goalkeeper Vito Mannone spent a loan spell with City while at Arsenal, so several Royals will be reacquainted with their former employers and colleagues this weekend.
Elsewhere, we welcome back one of our own...former Royals defender Michael Hector will be making a return to Madejski Stadium this weekend with the Tigers.
It is sure to be a hotly-contested match in Reading on Saturday afternoon, so make sure you have your ticket ready to back the boys!
You can get an Adult ticket from just £20 for members for this game, with a Family ticket of two Adults, two Children for just £42 for members, that's a saving of £24!
