16 September 2017

Royals boss Jaap Stam has made two changes to the starting line-up for this afternoon's Griffin Park clash with Brentford.

Dave Edwards starts for the first time in Reading colours, having come off the bench in the defeat to Bristol City last weekend to make his Royals bow. Leandro Bacuna starts as a substitute.

And Garath McCleary also starts in place of Mo Barrow, while Jordan Obita is named in the squad for the first time this season after overcoming an injury that has sidelined him since pre-season.

Brentford:
Bentley, Henry, Bjelland, Jozefzoon, Maupay, Watkins, Mokotjo, Egan (c), Woods, Sawyers, Clarke.
Subs: Daniels, Yennaris, McEachran, Archibald, Shaibu, Barbet, Mepham.

Reading: Mannone, Gunter, Blackett, McShane (c), Moore, Van den Berg, Kelly, Edwards, McCleary, Aluko, Bodvarsson.
Subs: Jaakkola, Obita, Ilori, Evans, Bacuna, Beerens, Clement.
