Two wins from the first three games under Paul Clement – a promising start. But it’s another tough ask on Tuesday evening, when we visit promotion-hopefuls Fulham on their own patch.
Mo Barrow, who netted the winner against Preston on Saturday, believes that the team can take something from the game if they dig deep again and put in the same workrate and execute their gameplan.
“I’m always happy and pleased to score a goal – at the moment though, the important thing is to get results and three points and keep ourselves safe this season,” said Barrow.
“Every game is important – we want to go to Fulham and give the same effort. We’ve kept two clean sheets in three games, so hopefully we can go there and try to get something.
“We want to try and get at least a point from every game, but six points from nine available under the new manager so far is pleasing.
“You could see on Saturday that when we were struggling a bit, the fans were cheering and giving us extra energy to keep on going and the belief.
“Fulham are a really good team, and they’re doing really well at the moment. But we believe that we can get something out of the game.”
