"Everyone knows how important this game will be, we want to get things done and dusted on Saturday."
Tiago Ilori makes no secret of the fact the Royals will have to be at the top of their game to secure a victory against Ipswich Town, in order to confirm Championship safety this weekend.
With plenty of sessions under their belts this week, Ilori says the Royals have benefitted from spending an extended period of time between games to put Paul Clement's ideas into practice.
"Training has been good," Ilori said. "In the last couple of weeks we've been able to get a full week of training in, which is important so the manager can get his ideas across more and we can be more prepared for the game.
"It means we can work on our shape a bit better, the manager hasn't been here that long so he's been able to get his ideas across more and it gives us more time to plan and prepare.
"We've got to expect the worst, in that they're going to be playing their best. We've got to work hard and run more than them, understanding the position we're in.
"It's like any game, we've got to work as hard as we can. We were disappointed last week, we want to get back out there and play as soon as possible to change that."
The centre-back hopes to have the vocal backing of Reading supporters for one final time this season, to hopefully see the Royals safe in the Championship for another season.
He stressed how vital it is for the fans to get behind the team this weekend, adding: "It's definitely important for us. We don't need motivation but it's always important for the fans to be on our side and making a lot of noise.
"It's our last home game as well. We're in this position, it is what it is, and we're trying to fight out of it."
