After a busy curtain-raiser against Derby County last Friday night, our Ticket Office have penned a 'Thank You' message to supporters in appreciation of their patience and understanding as we got to grips with the start of a brand new season.
The Ticket Office would like to thank fans for their fantastic support at our first match of the season...it was great to see so many supporters wanting to back the team in our opening 2018-19 match.
We would also like to thank everyone for their patience in dealing with the Ticket Office last week and, in particular, on the evening of the match. We are aware supporters experienced large queues on the night and extended waiting times when calling the Ticket Office. A very large percentage of our match ticket sales were purchased after our last postal date for the Derby County match, which naturally put significant pressure on the Ticket Office operation.
Reading Football Club are continuing to work towards an improved ticketing system to specifically improve the online customer service experience. However, in the meantime we would encourage as many supporters as possible to become members and purchase tickets before our last posting date for each fixture when possible. For example, the last post for tickets to see us take on Birmingham City next week will be 3pm on Friday 10th August.
Remember, by purchasing a Member Card - for as little as £3 for concessions and £5 for adults - supporters can save money, earn loyalty points and avoid having to wait for paper tickets. To learn more about becoming a member please click here.
Our Midweek Mates Rates offer for Season Ticket Holders was also particularly popular for the Derby match on Friday night - and this will be back for the Norwich City clash on Wednesday 19th September which is ON SALE NOW.
There is also still time to purchase a Season Ticket for the 2018-19 season, although this will now only be available to purchase through the Ticket Office and not online.
Once again thank you for your continued support and, as ever, if you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact us on 0118 968 1313, or email firstname.lastname@example.org
