Away tickets on sale for Blackburn and Villa

Follow the Royals on the road!

7 August 2018

Tickets are now available for travelling Royals supporters to see the team on the road later this month, as we make trips to Blackburn Rovers and Aston Villa.

After our visit to Nottingham Forest this weekend, those trips to Ewood Park and Villa Park are our next two away destinations – a chance to cheer the team on to try and bring points back to RG2!

First up – a visit to Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday 22nd August (7.45pm kick-off).  It’ll be our first visit to Ewood Park since December 2016… on that day, Dominic Samuel was on the scoresheet for us, and now he’s on the teamsheet for the hosts!  It was a drama-filled fixture which was decided in the final throes by George Evans’ late winner.

Blackburn are back in the Championship after a season away; they were promoted from League One at first time of asking.  They came close to getting a win on their first game back at Ipswich, only for Tayo Edun to nab a last-minute equaliser for the Tractor Boys.

Adult tickets are priced £22 for the Ewood Park visit, with concessionary discounts available for fans aged 65 & Over, 18-21, 12-17 and Under-12.  Hit the banner below for full information.

And then, soon after, it’s a visit to Aston Villa on Saturday 25th August (3pm kick-off).  It was as recently as April when we were last at Villa Park, as the Midlands club ran out 3-0 winners en route to a finish in the play-off places.

But the Villans’ season ended in disappointment as they were defeated at Wembley by Fulham – condemning the former European champions to a third straight season in England’s second tier.  Their new season got off to a good start against Hull on Monday evening, however; last season’s Royal loanee Tommy Elphick scored their first as they came from behind to win 3-1.

Tickets are £30 for Adults and concessions are available for ages Over-65, 18-20, 17 & Under as well as full-time students and members of the armed forces.  Click the button below for more information.
