Full focus on winning against Wednesday this weekend!

Tickets for visit of the Owls on sale now - be here to back the boys!

We all want a home win to help kick-start our season. Saturday there are three points up for grabs as the Owls come to town!

The international break is on the horizon and we want to take three points into that interval...but we'll need the support of our home fans!

Like ourselves, Jos Luhukay's side bowed out of the Carabao Cup in midweek at home against top flight opposition - Wolves were twoo strong for Wednesday, earning a 2-0 win at Hillsborough on Tuesdeay night.

However, the Owls' league form has picked up in recent weeks - narrow home wins over Millwall and Ipswich saw them pick up their first wins of the campaign last week.

"We'll be ready for Wednesday challenge"

But on the road, Wednesday have tasted defeat at both Wigan and Brentford, so they will be arriving at the Madejski with the aim of improving their away form.

The manager praised Royals fans last weekend as a travelling band of fans who headed up to Villa Park made a lot of noise and helped Paul Clement's players earn a valuable point against Steve Bruce's side.

He said, "I want to mention the fans, because what a fantastic turnout! They packed that corner, they were full of enthusiasm and really got behind the players. That was absolutely brilliant."

More of the same on Saturday could provide the boost this group need to get back to winning ways at a crucial time of the season, just before a two-week break.

Clement | "This team can do a lot better"

The Royals are unbeaten against Wednesday in the last four encounters between the teams at Madejski Stadium - a Roy Beerens brace earned us victory here in 2016-17 and Nathaniel Chalobah (on show for Watford here last night) scored a stunning goal to secure a 2-0 victory over the Owls in January 2015.

So let's get behind the boys and dig deep for a win.
