This Wednesday’s fixture against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park will be overseen by Oliver Langford.
He last refereed a Reading match in March of this year, when the Royals lost 3-2 to Norwich at Carrow Road.
His first time officiating a Reading game was a 2-1 victory over Plymouth Argyle at Madejski Stadium back in February 2010 - when a brace from Shane Long earned all three points for the Royals.
Averaging 3.1 yellow cards over 39 matches last season, while also giving out five red cards, the official is no stranger to Championship matches, having officiated his first match in the league in September 2009.
So far this season he has overseen three games in the EFL, with two of those games being from the Championship and another from League Two. He has so far only brandished six yellows so far this season, although he has given a red card to Grimsby Town already.
Joining him will be assistant referees Akil Howson and Andrew Fox, while the fourth official will be Anthony Backhouse.
