James Linington will be overseeing proceedings this weekend in RG2, as Reading take on Bolton Wanderers.
This will be a familiar feeling for the Welsh official, as he also took charge of exactly the same fixture back in March!
The teams drew 1-1 in a nip-and-tuck encounter at Madejski Stadium last time around, and this was also the last time Mr Linington officiated either team.
In 40 matches last season throughout the EFL, he averaged around 3.5 cautions per match, and also brandished the red card five times.
He started this term by refereeing Swansea's 1-0 win over Preston last weekend, before taking charge of the Carabao Cup tie between Oxford and Coventry in midweek.
Mr Linington will be assisted on the day by Robert Merchant and John Flynn, with a late change at fourth official as Charles Breakspear steps in between the benches.
