Paul Clement has rung the changes as Premier League Watford are at Madejski Stadium for tonight's Carabao Cup tie.
Eight players have come into the line-up after a midweek draw at Aston Villa. This includes a first start for John O'Shea in a Reading shirt, as well as the return of Chris Gunter after an injury kept him sidelined to miss the start of the season.
Academy graduates Omar Richards and Liam Kelly come into the side, as does Sam Walker in goal and Yakou Méïte on the wing.
John Swift is also recalled to the line-up, while Marc McNulty starts to lead the line for the Royals.
As for the visitors, former Royal Adrian Mariappa captains the side, while fellow former Reading man Nathaniel Chalobah starts in RG2.
