Reading's Under-23s succumbed to a narrow 1-0 defeat against Manchester United at Madejski Stadium on Sunday, as the Red Devils went to the summit of the league standings.
The deadlock wasn't broken until the 64th minute, when a penalty by Angel Gomes put the visitors in front. And it stayed that way until the final whistle as the Royals couldn't make any late pressure count.
