Scott Marshall will continue in his caretaker manager role for the Royals this weekend at Rotherham United, having led a whole week of training for the senior squad for the first time.
The Royals will head to face Rotherham at the New York Stadium this weekend, and a victory in South Yorkshire would put Reading ahead of the Millers in the Sky Bet Championship table.
Paul Warne's side have been a very tough proposition on their own turf, though. Of their 21 points in the Championship so far this season, 18 have been won at home - including impressive wins against high-flying Derby County and Swansea City.
Marshall revealed that Jón Daði Böðvarsson has returned to training this week following a back injury that has kept him sidelined for almost two months, and may be in contention for a place in the squad this weekend.
Tickets can be bought on the day from the New York Stadium, at a £2 increase on advance ticket prices.
