31 December 2018

Reading vs Swansea City
Tuesday 1st January
3pm kick-off
Madejski Stadium
Sky Bet Championship

We start the new year with our new manager's first home match in charge of the Royals, with José Gomes set to walk out to the Madejski Stadium dugout as Reading boss for the first time.

Reading take on a Swansea City side tucked away in mid-table, without a win in their last three and out to try and push themselves back up towards the top six.

After a bumper away following at Loftus Road on Saturday, we would love to see as many of you here as possible to welcome our new management team to Madejski Stadium on New Year's Day!

The Royals head into this match off the back of a hard-earned clean sheet and a point against Play-Off chasers, Queens Park Rangers. With a glamour FA Cup tie away at Manchester United to look forward to this weekend, it's still business as usual with three vital Championship points on offer.

For those of you in attendance prior to the match, our usual pre-match activities are on offer in the Fun Zone - where Under-23 stars Jack Nolan and Akinwale Odimayo will be appearing before kick-off.

We recommend arriving in plenty of time for our match on Tuesday, with a large crowd anticipated for the New Year's Day fixture.

The Royals will be aiming to build on a much-improved performance at Loftus Road back home, and we'll need your support all the way!
