Queens Park Rangers vs Reading
Saturday 29th December
Loftus Road
Sky Bet Championship
3pm kick-off

The Royals make the short hop to west London to take on a Queens Park Rangers side on the ascendency in the Championship.

Having been rock bottom of the league table early on in the season - taking just three points from their opening five games - Steve McClaren's side have been on a steady climb up the table and sit just outside the Championship's top six as it stands.

After earning themselves a narrow 1-0 win at Madejski Stadium at the start of October, that kick-started a run of just one defeat in their next nine matches - with the Hoops now lurking two points outside the Play-Off places.

Reading, meanwhile, will have been back in training and taking on the ideas of new manager, José Gomes, after the boss took charge of his first Reading game on Boxing Day.

The Royals will be without the suspended Tyler Blackett and Leandro Bacuna for the trip to Loftus Road, with both banned for the next three matches after being red-carded at Millwall on Wednesday.

John O'Shea could be in line for a return to the starting line-up, after being fit enough for the bench in the last two matches. Paul McShane, Tiago Ilori and Tom McIntyre remain sidelined in defence, with Chris Gunter also having been absent with injury at Millwall.

Gomes will be looking for his first win as Royals manager this weekend at Loftus Road, with a healthy away following set to be in attendance backing the boys this weekend!

This is an ALL-TICKET match for Royals supporters, and tickets will not be available to buy on the day from Loftus Road. Tickets go off-sale from the Reading Ticket Office at midday on Friday 28th December, we recommend not travelling for the match unless you have a ticket.
