As always, there's plenty to read ahead of Saturday's match with your essential pre-match companion, a copy of The Royal!
Get to know the latest Academy starlets to make an impact in the first team, as Andy Rinomhota and Danny Loader sit down for this week's edition of The Long Read.
The youngsters talk about the whirlwind of the last few weeks, the success of the Royals' Academy, the influence of Eamonn Dolan, breaking into the senior setup, the perceptions of young players in the media and the hard work ahead of them to keep their places.
Take a look at a sneak preview below:
“You’re in that team for a reason," Rinomhota said. "You’re old enough to receive criticism and it’s your responsibility to perform well, to get the results that the fans want - it becomes ruthless. If you don’t do well, you don’t play. It’s not about learning or developing anymore, it’s about the results coming first.
“When you’re doing well it feels like everything is going for you. Everyone’s saying how well you’re doing, being nice and we’re just happy to have come through the Academy, giving something back to the club as they brought us through.
“Andy’s right,” Loader added. “Academy football is very different. You can make mistakes, but when you get into the first team, everyone’s looking at you, looking for something bright that you’re going to do.
“It’s all about getting results, though. You’ve earned your place in that team and you need to pull your weight on the pitch.”
