This will be the third time the teams have been paired against each other in cup competition since 2013, but this could be the first occasion in which Rinomhota may play a part at Old Trafford against Jose Mourinho's men.

Our Under-23s have already played against the Red Devils at the 76,000 capacity arena this season, but Rinomhota wasn't involved on the night as, little did he know, he would be making his Championship debut the next day away at Preston!

Having started the last five games for the Royals in the league, the central midfielder is excited at the prospect of playing against some of the best players the Premier League has to offer.

"The thought of going to Old Trafford, playing Manchester United, one of the biggest clubs in the world, in front of 70-odd thousand people - that'll be massive and a whole experience in itself.

"I was brought up supporting Manchester United so it's always been there for me to want to play at Old Trafford, and hopefully now I'll have the chance."

With several former United players in the Royals' ranks, including John O'Shea, Tyler Blackett and Paul McShane, Rinomhota says they will want to go back to their former employers and get the result on the day as Reading players.

"Everyone's on a high, they're going to be returning to their old club so they'll want to put in a good performance and play well.

"I think everyone's massively up for it but, obviously, the league comes first and we'll be focussing on that up until the cup game.

"It's something that's going to be on people's minds, and we're looking forward to it a lot.

"Everyone wants to get the result, do well for themselves and give a good account against good quality opposition."

Date and ticket details for our FA Cup tie at Old Trafford are yet to be confirmed, but will be announced via the club website and social media channels in due course.
