James Linington will be overseeing proceedings as the Royals take on high-flying Sheffield United this weekend.
This will be Linington's third visit to Madejski Stadium this season, having been in charge of our home clashes against Bolton Wanderers and Bristol City already this term.
The Newport-based official has already had experience of refereeing Chris Wilder's Sheffield United as well - their 4-1 home demolition of Aston Villa back in September.
Linington is yet to send a player off this season, but has brandished 42 yellow cards in 14 matches so far - exactly three cards per game on average.
He will be assisted on the day by Lee Venamore and Dean Treleaven, with Trevor Kettle in charge between the dugouts as fourth official.
