Coming to the game on Saturday? Bring a can or a tin and help ReadiFood help others this winter!
ReadiFood is Reading’s Foodbank. Run by Faith Christian Group - a registered charity for more than 25 years - it provides emergency food parcels to people in serious need across the Reading area.
ReadiFood’s volunteers deliver emergency food parcels four days a week to agencies, hubs and hundreds of homes. They work on a referral basis and are contacted by more than 80 agencies across Reading and often organisations throughout the UK. Currently they are delivering 160 emergency food parcels a week!
So this is where we need your help.

What and how you can donate?
Donations of non-perishable foods are needed for a ReadiFood collection which is being conducted at Madejski Stadium on Saturday.
So bring what cans, tins or packets of food which you can spare and deliver them to a drop point, positioned by the Royals Bus at our FunZone at Gate 6, this weekend.
Common items which are included in ReadiFood's parcels include tinned vegetables, tinned Soup, tinned Meat, biscuits, small bags of rice or pasta, tinned fish, jars of pasta sauce, tinned fruit, coffee and tea, baby milk, toiletries, toothpaste and toothbrushes, soap and shower gel or shampoo and conditioner, deodorant or even household cleaning items.

Volunteers from ReadiFood will be at the Middlesbrough match, gratefully receiving any suitable food donations our supporters can part with ahead of kick-off against Middlesbrough.
And, if you can't make it to the Fun Zone before the game, there will be a number of crates for supporters to deliver their donations to at turnstiles around the stadium.
You can donate goods from 12noon, when the crates will be in place. They will then be whisked away after the match and delivered to those in need of a little help this Christmas!
