Young Royals centre-back, Gabriel Osho, is in the starting line-up to make his senior debut against Middlesbrough.
The Under-23s' skipper takes his place alongside Tyler Blackett in central defence this afternoon, while Tom McIntyre misses out after picking up a head injury against Rotherham last time out.
Osho, 20, impressed while on loan at Aldershot Town in the National League earlier this season, and has been increasingly involved in senior training this campaign - he becomes the 49th player to make the step up from our Academy to the first team!
Chris Gunter misses out through injury, so Omar Richards returns to the starting line-up to play at left-back.
John O'Shea, Dave Edwards and Jón Daði Böðvarsson are fit enough for the bench for Reading, while Danny Loader and Mo Barrow both return to the starting eleven.
Four Academy graduates start for the Royals on Saturday, with Scott Marshall naming his team to face Middlesbrough.
Reading: Jaakkola, Yiadom, Osho, Blackett, Richards, Bacuna (c), Rinomhota, Sims, Barrow, Loader, Baldock.
Subs: Mannone, O'Shea, Swift, McCleary, Edwards, Böðvarsson, McNulty.
