Garath McCleary captains Reading for the first time this season; he’ll lead the team out of the tunnel at Loftus Road.

Centre-half pairing John O’Shea and Tiago Ilori are both back available after missing out at Millwall through injury; they start as a pair, with Liam Moore missing out through injury.

Tyler Blackett and Leandro Bacuna are both unavailable for the matchday squad as they begin their three-match suspensions.

Josh Sims, Liam Kelly and Jón Daði Böðvarsson are all back in and available as subs.
