Josh Sims returns to the starting line-up, with Academy graduates Andy Rinomhota and Danny Loader keeping their places in the side.

Marc McNulty starts up front alongside Loader, fresh from scoring his first competitive goal as a Royal last weekend.

Liam Moore remains absent with injury, so Tyler Blackett is likely to fill in once again at centre-back - with Anssi Jaakkola in goal once again.

With Moore and Paul McShane out with injury, Leandro Bacuna wears the captain's armband for the Royals this evening.

Subs: Mannone, S Baldock, Swift, Aluko, Barrow, Kelly, McIntyre.

Sheffield United: Henderson, G Baldock, Stevens, O'Connell, Basham, Fleck, Lundstram, Egan, Norwood, McGoldrick, Washington.
Subs: Moore, Sharp, Coutts, Stearman, Duffy, Johnson, Cranie.
