Hat-trick hero from midweek begins against Brentford

Apologies, this video is unvailable.

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson has retained his place in the starting eleven for this afternoon's fixture against Brentford, having scored a hat-trick in the FA Cup replay here on Tuesday night.

Liam Moore is fit to return to the starting eleven as he overcomes an ankle knock to partner Tiago Ilori in defence. Young Academy graduate Omar Richards is deployed at left-back, while Chris Gunter skippers the side from right-back in the absence of club captain Paul McShane.

McShane continues to sit on the sidelines with a hamstring injury suffered in the goalless draw at Hull last weekend, while John Swift picked up the same problem at the KCOM so won't play a part today.

But Bodvarsson will be flanked by Sone Aluko and Mo Barrow this afternoon, in front of a midfield three which includes Joey van den Berg, Liam Kelly and George Evans. Leandro Bacuna, meanwhile, misses out with a minor knock.

Reading: Mannone, Gunter (c), Richards, Ilori, Moore, Van den Berg, Kelly, Evans, Aluko, Barrow, Bodvarsson.
Subs: Jaakkola, Blackett, Edwards, Clement, Beerens, McCleary, Kermorgant.
