Royals boss Jaap Stam has rung the changes ahead of tonight's Emirates FA Cup Third Round replay against Stevenage - but despite making ten changes to the side that drew at Hull on Saturday, he still fields an experienced starting eleven this evening!
Chris Gunter is the only player to retain his place in the eleven and he wears the captain's armband as he makes his 250th appearance for the Royals!
Tiago Ilori, Tyler Blackett and Leandro Bacuna are expected to line up in defence in front of Anssi Jaakkola in the Reading goal, while Paul McShane misses out with a hamstring injury picked up at the KCOM Stadium at the weekend.
John Swift is also absent after a similar injury suffered on the Humber, so Liam Kelly, Dave Edwards and Pelle Clement form the midfield, while Roy Beerens returns to start in an attacking wide position opposite Sone Aluko. Jon Dadi Bodvarsson leads the Royals' line.
Experience sits on the bench in the form of Yann Kermorgant, Vito Mannone and Garath McCleary, while Academy products Omar Richards and Axel Andresson are also named as substitutes.
Reading: Jaakkola, Bacuna, Gunter (c), Ilori, Blackett, Kelly, Edwards, Clement, Beerens, Aluko, Bodvarsson.
Subs: Mannone, Richards, Andresson, Evans, McCleary, Popa, Kermorgant.
