Our visit to league leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers, on Saturday 3rd March 2018, has been chosen for live broadcast by Sky Sports.
That means that the original kick-off time of 3pm has been changed to suit the broadcaster’s 5.30pm kick-off time slot.
Wolves won through 2-0 when they visited the Madejski back in November, courtesy of goals from Ivan Cavaleiro and Matt Doherty – and it was the same scoreline when Reading last travelled to Molineux; Doherty was again on the scoresheet at the start of last season before Joe Mason made sure of the victory back in August 2016.
The Royals’ last win at Wolves came in February 2015, when Pavel Pogrebnyak’s first minute goal was followed up by a second half winner from Danny Williams in a 2-1 away win for Steve Clarke’s side.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are currently 12 points clear at the top of the Championship, so a visit to Molineux will be arguably our toughest test in the division this season.
