A good workout on a hot day against a newly-promoted Premier League side; plenty of benefits for our afternoon in Aldershot as we took on Fulham.
Goalless it ended at the Recreation Ground, despite the efforts of both sides and plenty of inventive attacking play.
More minutes in the legs for the Royals players, and a debut from the bench for Marc McNulty.
